Today, I am celebrating month six of this blog. Woohoo!
I want to pause and deviate from my regular posts to reflect..
Six months ago I started this blog as a way to continuously improve and enhance my photography skills and share my life experiences with pictures. I am not actually capturing everything about my life, and this is not a daily account of my life. I’ve been sharing those things or activities that are constants in my life, such as family, friends, food, travel, all things natural, my love of shoes, and new adventures. Writing about and photographing my life experiences deepens my appreciation for LIFE and all it has to offer. I am happiest when I have my camera in hand, exploring and experiencing life in a positive or fun way.
One’s life experiences are not always fun and great! Last month was full of not so nice experiences for me. First, I had a beloved paternal aunt die of breast cancer. We knew we’d only have her for a little less than a year; however, that year ended up being a few months and she passed away on the anniversary of my maternal grandmother’s passing. Over the next three weeks I lost two more relatives. In that same period of time I personally experienced traumatic events, but I am doing well (I am currently in Dubai)!
I am so very thankful for all of the blessings that have been bestowed upon me, especially having a GREAT family, supportive friends and now loyal A Shutter Life followers!
To my followers,
Thank You so much for supporting and inspiring me to get out, use and enhance my photography skills. Thank you for the comments you’ve posted or shared with me personally, they are truly a source of encouragement! I will continue to learn and grow, (photography is a continuous learning process) and I look forward to sharing my journey with you, through stories and photographs.
May you be blessed with Peace and Happiness!
