Every January or February the Washington National Cathedral sets aside half a day (for a small fee) for photographers to photograph the inside of the edifice. This is a big deal because it’s the only day photographers can bring their tripods! I took advantage of the opportunity, which was an awesome experience, because the Cathedral is absolutely beautiful! The architectural design is full of details, including carvings, stain glass windows, figures, and marble columns and floors. Click here for more information about the Washington National Cathedral.
The chairs from the main section of the Cathedral are stacked against one wall allowing plenty of room to capture the details. It has several alcoves and smaller rooms for prayer, worship, and music. I spent a few hours there taking it all in!
Wow these are post card beautiful!
