Last week I shared photos from my experience in Seattle, my hometown. Seattle is a beautiful city as evidenced by the skyline photos shown in my post.  It is also a great place for foodie’s, as it has an array of great restaurants!  Being the foodie that I am, I had to visit a few places old and new during my recent visit. The first was Moctezuma’s Mexican Restaurant & Tequila Bar (www.moctezuma.com) at Westfield Mall (formerly Southcenter Mall), which was celebrating its grand opening. I met my sister-girl there to celebrate her birthday and to catch up. The time flew as we were there for four hours!

She ordered the Chile Relleno and I, the Camarones Cancun – (jack cheese stuffed prawns wrapped in crispy bacon served over a bed of vegetables and roasted pepper sauce, accompanied with Mexican rice and black beans. I highly recommend the Camarones Cancun, it was delectable! And as you know from a prior post, anything with bacon on it will appeal to me! My sister enjoyed her meal; the Chile Relleno was also muy bueno!

I sampled their signature frozen margarita, and it was great! I only had that one drink and a couple of glasses of water during the entire four hours! We did more talking than eating and drinking!  I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it’s always nice to share great experiences with people you love and enjoy! Happy Birthday S.S.!

I would definitely dine at Moctezuma Mexican Restaurant & Tequila Bar again! I’ll be looking for one on the east coast!

That particular day I had issues with my camera (operator errors) and didn’t capture clear crisp pictures. (No, it had nothing to do with my margarita!) I’ve since discovered that my iPhone camera is a great back-up during a digital camera crisis!
